Talia Aoude

Talia Aoude is an unapologetic soul singer/songwriter from Ottawa, Ontario. Her take on music creates a space that fosters comfort while feeling safe to express one’s emotion. With influences like Adele, Aretha Franklin, Amy Winehouse and Miley Cyrus, Aoude is on the path of making her own name and sound while bringing old Hollywood glamor and being authentically herself to show the true treasure and passion she shares with the arts.

Ms. Aoude’s start to the lights, camera and action had stemmed from being the oldest of 3 kids in a modest upbringing. Her outgoing personality and fondness of connecting others together had the music find her. Talia started singing at her local church from the age of 7.

Aoude is a self-taught musician. She had practiced and perfected her craft by applying for auditions that would give her an exposure to improve her artistry. With appearances on YTV The Next Star, La Voix, Ottawa Idol, and more. The thought of not just being a singer but a voice, a personality and a story to share that will inspire and help others is the true definition and reason Talia Aoude loves what she does.

The Egyptian/Italian artist now in her early 20’s has focused on herself and the music she has yet to release. With over one million streams on Spotify with Apollo Rising “Aurora” Aoude has stepped out of the audition light and focused further on her sound and brand. 

An admirer of live music, while lining up her performances with TIFF, The El Mocambo, Sofar, CTV Morning Ottawa and more, You can always find Talia at an open mic or jam session freestyling with friends and strangers with an old soul bringing the house down.
